About Me

The focus for my paintings and illustrations rely heavily on symbolism, color, and representation. 

Born into a military family and being of a multi-cultural background, I have traveled to many places across the United States, met a lot of wonderful diverse individuals who all influenced me in growth and art. Having family members already based in San Francisco since 1945, my immediate family moved to the Bay in 2001. I have lived here for the past 24 years, and am proud to call the city home.

I started drawing around age 10, inspired by Japanese manga art. By the time I reached high school, I started to focus on illustrations of human figures, animals, and still lifes. My time at CCSF introduced me to the wonderful world of painting, which has become my main choice of medium. I still however indulge in other mediums: colored pencils, various 3D materials, and digital platforms.
